Keyboard shortcuts

Now might be a good time to discuss keyboard shortcuts.

When you start working with loads of images you will eventually discover why working with a mouse can be a huge waste of time. There are many keyboard shortcuts that seasoned computer users will be very familiar with...I also discovered them recently...ctrl + O...press and hold the "Control" key while pressing the letter "O".

This opens a pop-up dialogue box from where you can select the image you want to open from the relevant file directory.

Equally simple, "Ctrl" + W will close the image currently in use.

This might sound silly but use a mouse 100 - 200 times a day and drag it halfway across a 23 inch screen to open and close images and you too will begin to love this idea...especially if you have to meet a deadline.
