So, in this digital era, how does one keep his or her photography fresh and visually stunning?
What do you do to make stunning pictures of any subject matter without becoming a follower of somebody else's style?I have lately discovered the joys of playing with the strobist ideas and think that this is a great concept to explore in the new year.
The main thing to me is not to get hung up on gadgetry but to learn to work with whatever ambient light is available at the time and make a stunning image with that rather than blasting enough flashes at the subject matter.
So that is what I think we will be doing...dump all the pre-conceived ideas about lens sharpness at f/whatever, stop pixel peeping, chimp less while the perfect shots presents itself for those few fleeting moments and SHOOT WIDE OPEN...push the limits hard and far in 2009.
